Kshitij is both a learning centre and a skills training workplace for its special adults. From vocational training to daily living skills, from therapeutic to leisure activities, Kshitij strives to impart holistic growth to its wards. A caring and guided learn-and-earn environment builds confidence and reduces their anxiety. Promoting a sense of purpose and dignity, it takes the wards closer to a life of self-reliance and inclusiveness in mainstream society

Our trustees
Kshitij was formed in 1996 by four trustees as a small workshop for their children. This has expanded to two sheltered workplaces and a family of several adult wards, well supported by trained staff, volunteers, and well-wishers, both individuals and corporates.
